1.1 Information you provide
- Account data: name, email, phone number, password (stored as a hash), and account settings.
- Profile photo / face photo: the image you upload for your profile.
- Listing data: listing title, description, address/location, availability, pricing, photos, and house rules.
- Booking data: dates, pricing, booking history, and booking-related details.
- Messages & support: messages sent through the Platform and communications with support.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Usage data: interactions with listings, searches, clicks, and feature usage.
1.3 Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Airbik does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited payment-related information such as payment status and transaction metadata necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, and support.

- Provide and operate the Platform (accounts, listings, bookings, messaging).
- Display listings and profile information as described in this Policy and our Terms.

4. Photo & Profile Visibility Policy
4.1 What profile photos are for
Airbik uses profile photos to help users understand who they are renting from or hosting. Profile photos also help reduce fraud and improve trust and safety on the Platform.
4.2 Where profile photos are displayed
- Hosts (public visibility): If you create a listing, your profile photo may be displayed publicly on your listing page(s), including to users who are browsing and have not booked.
- After booking (mutual visibility): After a booking is confirmed, the Host and the Renter may see each other's profile photos so both parties know who to expect.
4.3 User commitments (what you promise when uploading a profile photo)
- You will upload a photo of yourself (not someone else).
- You have the right to upload the photo and it does not violate anyone else's rights.
- You will not upload nudity, hateful content, violent content, or illegal content.
- You understand other users may view your profile photo as described above.
4.4 Prohibited misuse of other users' photos
Users may not copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, sell, share, or use another user's profile photo outside booking-related purposes. Users may not use photos for harassment, stalking, discrimination, threats, doxxing, or impersonation.
Airbik may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate for violations.
4.5 Changes/removal of your profile photo
You can generally replace your profile photo in account settings. We may limit removal in narrow circumstances (for example, during an active booking window or an ongoing safety investigation) where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Platform.
4.6 Storage and access
Profile photos are stored on our service providers' infrastructure (for example, cloud storage). We may store resized or reformatted versions for display performance.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features may not work properly.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You use the Platform at your own risk.

- Account settings: you may update certain profile information in your account settings.
- Profile photo: you may change your profile photo (subject to limited restrictions described above).
- Marketing emails: you may opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link (transactional emails may still be sent).
